A Seattle man, Daniel John Carlee, is charged with premeditated first-degree murder for fatally shooting an unarmed man, Solomon Thompson, on a Capitol Hill street corner. Carlee, who has no prior criminal record, is accused of following and yelling at Thompson before pulling out a concealed pistol and firing at least eight shots. Witnesses saw the entire incident, and Carlee was arrested at the scene. He is being held on two million dollars bail and is due in court for arraignment on Monday.
