Josh Naylor, Seattle Mariners first baseman, is named captain for Team Canada in the World Baseball Classic, set to begin on March 5th. Naylor, a Mississauga, Ontario native, will lead the squad in Pool A against Colombia, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Panama. He recently signed a five-year, $92.5 million deal with the Mariners, who are currently in spring training with a 3-6 record.
