This dessert takes us to the lush country of Indonesia. Starting back from over 400 years Dutch colonizers brought their influence to create a dessert using local ingredients and customs. Baked, but served chilled, this custard is made with everyday items found in the Indonesian kitchen. We're exploring the history and origin of klappertart.
