I've yet to put a number on how many games I think this new-look Seattle Seahawks team can, and will, win in 2024...... until now. While optimism seems to be high among fans that the Seattle Seahawks will return to their contending ways with an improved roster and new head coach Mike Macdonald in the fold, the national media is painting a different picture. Emory Hunt publishes the Football Gameplan Draft Guide and provides draft coverage for CBS Sports. He scours the country looking for talent, and I find that he's much more objective and open-minded than other draft analysts.... much more willing to include lesser-known FCS players in his rankings. As a result, his lists look quite a bit different than many of the other mainstream publications you may have seen. The Seahawks missed the playoffs in 2023, ushering in a new era as legendary head coach Pete Carroll was replaced by young first-timer Mike Macdonald. There's a lot of work to be done as the team entered free agency with fewer players under contract than any team in the NFL.
