Deja Vu - Pete Carroll promises he'll fix the defense, but should we believe him?
Once again the Seahawks find themselves needing a win and a Green Bay loss on the final weekend of the season to sneak into the playoffs, and once again it's due to a bad defensive performance in their latest loss, 30-23 to the Steelers. Since then, Pete Carroll has said he knows how to fix the defensive issues they're having, and will have them ready to play this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. But... haven't we heard this before? Is this yet another broken record of broken promises? I'll compare some other Carroll quotes about this same issue from the last couple seasons, as well as dive into two other areas of the team where there seem to be huge disconnects and dysfunction right now.
