The Seahawks defense followed up their performance against the Panthers by holding the 49ers offense to a score that allowed their offense to have a shot late in the game. But was it largely the performance of the defense or the coaching on the Niners that allowed this game to stay as close? Game planning was also an issue for the Seahawks offense as Geno Smith spent a majority of his time stationary in the pocket to face a strong pass rush. We reflect on how the Seahawks 7-7 record tells the story of exactly what this team is this season. It's fine if you look at the bigger picture for this season and into next.
