Gabrielle Carmine joins the program to provide a first-hand account of the passage of the High Seas Treaty. Gabrielle is a fourth-year Marine Science and Conservation PhD student at Duke University in the Marine Geospatial Ecology Lab. Her doctoral research in ocean science focuses on high seas fisheries, corporate powers, and ocean governance. This episode was edited and produced by David Suchyta.
