The teaser trailer for "Scream VI" (official title) was released Wednesday, December 14, after months of anticipation and speculation. Unlike the trailer for "Scream" (2022), this was brief, vague, and only contained a handful of cast members in one sequence. The new Woodsboro survivors (Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Mason Gooding Jr., and Jasmin Savoy Brown) are stalked on a New York City subway on Halloween night. The trailer does not feature Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers or Hayden Panettiere as Kirby Reed.
