On this episode of Scran Rosalind finds out more about the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as it turns 40. Attending a global tasting event in Leith recently Rosalind speaks to the man who founded the society back in 1983, whisky legend, Pip Hills. They discuss everything from the history of the organisation to Pip's status as a pariah in whisky circles at one time and the interesting role The Scotsman newspaper played in the the society's success. Rosalind also met members of the society who have travelled from all over the world and chats to new CEO Andrew Dane about the celebrations taking place this year.
