“Trump is deeply concerned about the oil price,” David Woo says, and argues the Iranians see it as his biggest vulnerability as well. He thinks they will hold out believing Trump can’t sustain the situation for more than three weeks. The current oil prices are “not sustainable,” he says, with prices either moving lower or rocketing up to $150. David examines how crowded trades have been unwinding in oil over the past few days, and predicts things will be “uglier” before they end.
