Chris Versace says this week and next week could be make-or-break for the market ending 2025 higher. He sees a “hawkish” rate cut in December from the Fed; “the key for us is to maybe see inflation still at elevated levels but not creep higher,” he says. “Don’t make any aggressive moves this week,” he advises investors, because trading volumes are typically low during the holiday week, and “look for the S&P 500 to retest the 100-day moving average.” He says instead to “build your shopping list” of stocks, highlighting Axon (AXON) and Arista Networks (ANET).
