Ryan Steelberg, CEO of Veritone (VERI), explains what the company does and why investors might be interested. Veritone provides AI computing solutions and services and just announced a contract with the Air Force. “We are experts in leveraging AI…against unstructured datasets.” He gives the example of data from body cameras that must be “ingested, indexed and understood” to help investigations. Another use is “automated redaction,” which he says can reduce costs by 30%-50%. “We have hundreds of customers across the U.S.” He sees a clear path to profitability ahead.
