Cooper Howard with Charles Schwab expects the Fed to continue cutting rates throughout the year. The rate of which will vary on data. Cooper notes hard data is coming in okay but soft data remains a factor for the Fed. He says inflation needs to slow for the FOMC to confidently cut interest rates beyond current expectations.
