Chirag Shah reacts to August PPI, previews potential CPI numbers, and discusses his expectations for Fed rate cuts. He looks at the bond market and says to focus on the “signal” rather than the “noise” for clues to Fed moves. “It’s much better to look at longer trends over time,” he emphasizes, and longer-term rates over short-term. Looking at financials, he thinks the sector is lagging “for good reason.”
