HSBC lowered its price target on Tesla (TSLA) to $130 from $165, arguing that "the seeds for the current sales weakness pre-date the recent brand issues." As Caroline Woods points out, it's not shaking the stock. She takes a closer look into the analyst note and weighs on the weaknesses it points out. Joe Tigay says Tesla has potential to turn markets around with its momentum and offers an example options trade for the stock.
