Not your parents’ portfolio: Kyle Bergacker talks alternative investments, especially accessing private markets. Private markets have changed substantially over the last two decades, he argues, and now people have investment vehicles through some of the private capital giants. He explains how to access them and why investors may be interested in them, including “illiquidity” payouts and tax advantages. On the downside, the money will be tied up for a longer time frame.
