Sandra Swirski reacts to China tariffs jumping to 145% tomorrow and NVDA/AMD’s profit-sharing deal with the U.S. government. She says the market is “stronger than I would expect at this point” because tariffs have become “normalized.” She expects Trump to give China a “little bit of slack” on tariffs if there’s no “foot-dragging” on negotiations. Sandra compares this to the tariffs enacted on India, calling them a “punishment” for delays. With tariffs bringing in “twice as much” revenue as usual, Sandra says traders should watch how the government uses the money.
