Stocks closed down as tariff talks between the U.S. and China continued for a second day in Sweden. Most earnings didn't offer hope for positive trading action, seen in Novo Nordisk's (NVO) 22% decline after curbing sales expectations for Wegovy and Ozempic. Spotify (SPOT) also saw a staggering sell-off after posting a surprise miss. However, SoFi Technologies (SOFI) offered a bright spot with its rally.
