Today's session on Wall Street ended with indices closing higher. The Fed led headlines but ultimately voted to leave interest rates unchanged. Markets got a bump near the end of the session thanks to a report of President Trump easing Biden-era chip curbs. Alphabet (GOOGL) closed down more than 7% after Apple (AAPL) hinted toward a new move into A.I., while Walt Disney (DIS) soared almost 11% on its earnings. Caroline Woods carries investors through the trading day.
