Kevin Green discusses market sentiment towards the U.S. government shutdown as it extends into day 16. He and Diane King Hall look to prediction markets like Kalshi which believe it could extend beyond a month. On the earnings front, TSMC (TSM) beat expectations and is "carrying a lot of the other semiconductor names" in early trade, according to KG. Meanwhile, Salesforce (CRM) provided a higher than expected revenue target and plans for a $7B share buyback. KG says it's a stock that has face a lot of headwinds this year, so will be watching if the latest pop will hold. And, on today's S&P 500 (SPX) range, KG looks at 6745 to the upside, with 6600 as a potential downside test.
