Onsemi (ON) bucks the trend and raises its 2Q guidance after "managing" 1Q downturn in its business. Dave Mazza joins Diane King Hall to dive into the semiconductor company's latest quarterly earnings figures. For longer-term, he sees this company as providing the "brains and nerves" for the EV sector and says the components they deliver are so important. He cites tariffs as a potential headwind for the company. Within the sector, Dave says semis are a "have and have not" business pointing to winners like Nvidia (NVDA), but says these companies represent the "tip of the economic spear."
