Dr. Ellen Wald and Ed Butowsky cover the energy markets. Ed says that the movement away from Middle Eastern reliance means that he’s not overly worried about an impact to the U.S. “You have everything in the world pushing prices down,” he adds. Ellen thinks the oil market has realized that Israel’s attacks on Iran are not going to shock the system. She also thinks there is very little threat to the Strait of Hormuz – “Iran has to have absolutely nothing to lose.”
