Logan Gilland previews NXP Semiconductors (NXPI) earnings and discusses the company's exposure to the automotive industry, which could be weighing on its performance. He admits "this is one that's going to struggle" adding that these chips are used in many Autos & EVs which have seen a dip in consumer interest as car prices have risen. Logan adds that investors are looking to guidance numbers from semiconductor stocks alongside earnings beats. He says his interest has turned to more software names versus hard chips, but recognizes the strong performance from Nvidia (NVDA) and AMD Inc. (AMD).
