“Expectations are really high,” Nitin Sacheti says, examining the results from megacap tech earnings this week. It’s becoming a stock picker’s market as investors need to sort through the AI trade carefully; he likes hardware and inference-related companies, but is beginning to hedge. Another place he’s looking is at fiber, as it’s needed to move data across the country. He’s also long in the defense sector in companies where he sees secular growth.
