David Nelson explains the extreme significance of U.S. operations in Venezuela, saying that it gives the U.S. leverage over the rest of the world, especially China, who is the biggest buyer of Venezuelan oil and has loaned billions to the country. The “real winners” are the energy companies that are going to rebuild the sector, he says, along with the consumer. He specifically highlights SLB Ltd. (SLB).
