A day after Meta Platforms (META) froze hiring in its A.I. division, the company announced a deal $10 billion A.I. deal with Alphabet (GOOGL). As Jenny explains, Meta aims to add power to its Llama models through Google cloud. Another cloud-based company, Workday (WDAY), sold off after guidance slipped under the bar despite its acquisition of Paradox.
