Gold futures hit yet another all-time high today. Dan Deming says the move is due to “risk aversion,” also citing bond market moves after Jerome Powell’s comments earlier today. He also looks at the U.S. dollar as it continues to trade below the 100 level, and the currencies benefitting from that weakness. Meanwhile, Dan addresses Bitcoin's steady position despite the market downturn, but he still doesn’t view the crypto asset as a tool of risk aversion.
