Joe Cavatoni from the World Gold Council discusses gold near all-time highs and how the expectation of a Fed rate cut is affecting price. “The Western investor is definitely driving the flows right now,” he says, using ETFs as a proxy. The options and futures markets are showing “risk trading” that could cause more price volatility in the short term, he adds.
