She also looks at the Japanese economy, especially wages, and thinks there could be another rate hike there later this year. Turning back towards the U.S., Michelle reviews the U.S. dollar’s struggle this year and its impacts. She thinks the dollar can fall further from here, noting it is “well above” where it was in the last decade. However, she doesn’t expect the U.S. to lose its “reserve currency status.”
