October cut odds rose on the back of the release, which showed all members voted for a 25 basis point cut in September except one, who advocated for a deeper cut. Brian advocates for trimming winners, with growth risks remaining elevated. Jan thinks every day of the government shutdown adds more fuel to Fed easing, since growth is expected to fall.
