Nick Elward examines the record interest in active ETFs and explains why investors are interested in these vehicles. “About a third of flows are now going into active ETFs,” he says, although the ratio of active to passive funds is still around 1:10. Volatility draws investors to ETFs, he argues, so the recent trade turmoil has been good for that market. He also discusses how upcoming SEC regulations could impact ETF products. He goes over ETFs his company offers, including GQI, and why investors might be interested.
