Sean Dranfield focuses on fixed income opportunities. He sees a steepening yield curve, saying at the longer end of the curve bonds are worried about the U.S. deficit, but the medium bonds are feeling more confident in trade policies. He thinks the long end looks “fairly attractive” right now. Sean doesn’t see risk of foreign bond buyers selling off their holdings. He doesn’t believe that any group, including the Fed, can “read the economic tea leaves” and predict economic conditions.
