Anthony points out the “massive loss” DLTR has taken on the purchase, but says it was such an “albatross” he’d be happy “if they sold it for a bag of magic beans.” Burt calls dollar stores in general the “trainwreck under the Christmas tree,” with a litany of reasons to avoid the sector.
