“They’re kind of looking through the fog here,” Jason England says of the Fed. He discusses their dual mandate and their rate cut path. He thinks a cut tomorrow is all but guaranteed, even with delayed economic data. However, he notes divisions amongst the FOMC on the dot plot. “Internal division is good,” he adds, but only if it comes to a resolution.
