Investors will have their attention all on Fed Chair Jerome Powell and the FOMC in a highly-anticipated interest rate decision. Ian Wyatt believes a hawkish tone will lead to a pause in January. He expects that pause to come more from inflation woes tapping into the Fed's dual mandate even as cracks widen in the jobs market. John Blank says he's "not too worried" about the labor, though he worried about what 2026 as a whole can look like for interest rates.
