“CPI print is great,” watch for PPI tomorrow, says Jake Clopton. He argues that crude and copper are showing no economic worries, and he is “skeptical” that tariffs will have a large impact on the economy. He thinks the Fed is waiting to see what impact there is before moving on rates, especially as the labor market remains strong. However, he says risk remains to the upside on bonds.
