Frances Stacy says Carnival's (CCL) ties to technicals in the SPX make it a stock to watch as the index struggles to lift higher. She notes support at September-lows as a positive sign for Carnival. As for its earnings, Assia Georgieva believes Carnival is more "insulated" from competitive pressures compared to peers like Royal Caribbean (RCL). However, she urges investors to keep macro headwinds in mind.
