Likefolio’s Landon Swan previews McDonald’s (MCD) sentiment ahead of earnings. “Investor expectations are definitely high,” he says, and they’re particularly focusing on results from the lower end consumer. He notes website visits have recently fallen hard and argues that visits were primarily due to looking for deals rather than “enthusiasm for the brand.” Overall, he’s leaning slightly bearish.
