Likefolio’s Andy Swan shares sentiment data for Amazon (AMZN) on this Black Friday. “The consumer is absolutely on fire” despite worries to the contrary, he says. “Pretty much every retailer is up.” He compares the change in visits on big shopping sites, noting that 6% growth for Amazon is massive due to the law of large numbers. Andy argues that consumers are researching products more with AI, and thinks that it will be important to track winners and losers within that area. "Amazon is a winning company that has every advantage at its disposal."
