Patrick Kennedy came into the year long energy, especially natural gas, which powers 43% of electricity in the U.S. He says it “matters more” where oil prices settle in the next few weeks as we figure out how much supply has actually been taken offline. Meanwhile, short-term moves are great for traders, he says. Shifting gears, he discusses risks within private credit, particularly when it comes to software. He doesn’t believe AI will “eat” software entirely in the next few years even as he’s bullish on AI overall.
