Mike Block we’re in for some “interesting times” on rates as the macro data gives Powell no incentive to move while President Trump claims rates should be as low as 1%. He previews the June jobs report and what a beat or loss could mean for markets. “Based on what I’m seeing,” Mike expects only one rate cut this year. He also sees major questions around the ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ and reciprocal tariffs, both of which have upcoming deadlines. Mike’s stock picks right now include EQYX, AVGO, PLTR, SNOW, CRWV and private companies within the chip space like Groq or Anthropic.
