Rob Deichert and Arun Sundaram walk through Amazon (AMZN) earnings. Arun highlights AWS growth acceleration, which was a “big positive,” but the shock was the $200 billion capex announcement. He thinks the stock will settle as investors realize that Amazon will monetize this spending “as fast as it possibly can.” Rob says there’s still “tons of upside” in their ad business. He is also bullish on its capex spending, and notes that he “tends not to bet against Amazon.”
