Austin Lyons says markets ran too hot on the A.I. trade and believes the selling action seen this week was warranted. That said, he expects A.I. companies to prosper long-term. He believes investors are questioning how they will see a return on investment, pointing to reaction in Meta Platforms' (META) earnings as a signal. Austin adds that cloud momentum from hyperscalers like Microsoft (MSFT), Alphabet (GOOGL), and Amazon (AMZN) show no signs of the A.I. narrative changing.
