Brigade-Generaal Ajmal Shinwari was de commandant van de special forces van de NDS, de Afghaanse geheime dienst. Net zoals zijn vader in de jaren ‘90, moest Ajmal zelf in 2021 vluchten naar Nederland. Zijn familie liep gevaar omdat zij zich altijd ingezet hebben voor het nieuwe Afghanistan. Nu deelt hij zijn verhaal, over de strijd en over zijn visie.
