Rembrandt doet waar hij voor leeft. Hij is commando en dient samen met Marco Kroon in o.a. Afghanistan. Daarna wordt hij operator arrestatieteam bij de Dienst Speciale Interventies. Tijdens een instap verandert zijn leven voorgoed, hij verliest zijjn hand met een ongeluk met explosieven. Dan komt hij in een transitie fase van zijn leven. De volmaking van een warrior betekent ook dat je los moet laten wat je kan en meer wordt wie je bent.
