Olaf Heezius is voor de 2e keer in Afghanistan als het vreselijk mis gaat. Tijdens Operatie Kapcha As ontstaat er verwarring o.a. door het slechte zicht. Het gevolg is dat ze op elkaar schieten, een zogenaamd blue-on-blue geval. Hierbij vallen doden en gewonden. Voor Olaf is het boek niet uit, omdat er weinig closure is.
