As his scams unravel, Laci and Jacquis uncover Elliot’s bad-kid teeth, his absentee father—who may or may not have worked on an offshore oil rig—his obsession with credit cards, and his desperate desire to make long-lasting friendships. And just like George Costanza in Seinfeld got caught pretending to be a marine biologist, Elliot eventually gets busted for faking his way through a profession he never actually worked in.
