About Garry
Garry is a Culture Coach and Chairman Emeritus of WD-40 Company (NASDAQ WDFC). WD-40 Company is the maker of the household staple, WD-40 as well a number of other product lines including hand cleaners and household cleaning products.
Garry has been with WD-40 Company since 1987 in various management positions, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of International and today he is Chairman Emeritus. He has worked directly with WD-40 in 50 countries.
Garry holds a philosophy on company culture which is based on a quote from Aristotle – "Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work." He believes that all leaders can create a workplace where you go to work each day, make a contribution to do something bigger than yourself, learn something new and feel safe and protected. That belief extended to WD-40's values which he credits with giving freedom to employees as well as happiness.
In 2009, Garry co-authored a book with Ken Blanchard titled "Helping People Win at Work: A Business Philosophy called "Don't Mark My Paper, Help Me Get an A", Release in May 2009, FT Press. #MG 100 coach.
