Martin is the Managing Director of the Techstars Accelerator in Berlin, angel investor and entrepreneur. He believes that we need to build 750 more unicorn companies within the next 10 years in Europe to create millions of future jobs, make Europe more independent when it comes to technology and give many the opportunity to realize their full potential. Martin believes that 'builders' are the inventors of the 21st century and is doing everything in his power to support entrepreneurs working towards that mission. He is passionate about accelerating companies that make the planet a better place for humanity and connecting growth and purpose. In the past 15 years, Martin has co-created and scaled up five ventures, including Orphoz, a subsidiary for McKinsey & Company, a public company in Saudi-Arabia, the foundation MARA in Argentina and the FinTech N26. To support startup teams on their journey to build category-leading technology companies, Martin has written the book "The Builder's Guide to the Tech Galaxy – 99 Practices to Scale Startups into Unicorns Companies" (Haufe, Wiley).
