The Wanderer’s Vision
Through shadows deep, where embers wail,
He trod the paths of hell’s grim vale.
No star, no hope, yet on he pressed,
A soul adrift, by fear caressed.
Then light, a blaze, did pierce the gloom,
A tunnel vast, a sacred womb.
To heaven’s gate, where love divine,
In Christ’s embrace, did brightly shine.
The Father’s voice, a thunder sweet,
Spoke truths no mortal tongue could meet.
“Return,” said He, “and tell the tale,
Of grace that triumphs, love that hails.”
